  1. I would think your best bet would be to attend some forays and talk to the people there. Personally i go for the enjoyment of being in the woods and looking for some good eats.

    Depends on if it is a true bicolor or one of the look alikes. The bicolor is edible the look alikes are not.

  9. Are you sure? all the pics and discriptions i can find for A. Onusta show or say gills this has a large angular pore surface

  11. Yes it is Polyporus Aleolaris and is related to dryads saddle (Polyporus Squamosus)

  13. I know the bottom 2 are some kind of bollet. For more on mushroom identification i would try mushroomexpert.com it has been alot of help. If you cant find it there you can email DR Kou. He is the author of the page.
