I went for a hike along the dried creek bed at Happy Hallow Park in West Lafayette today. While I didn’t think it was going to be the best time to find new and exciting mushrooms I figured I’d be able to find something.
This is the only thing I found. It shot off spores when tapped (lots of them! Super cool to show my boys that were with me today!) I do have a short video of me tapping it with a twig but I was unable to post it on the site
Is anyone able to help walk me through identifying this neat little guy?
