Upcoming Mushroom Event - Lafayette, IN - October 8 

The Hoosier Mushroom Society adn the Lafayette mycology group foray at 2 PM Sat. 8 Oct, Tippecanoe Battlefield picnic area, 200 Battle Ground Avenue, Battle Ground, IN.

Directions in attached map with yellow lines:

From I-65 exit 178 follow signs to Tippecanoe Battlefield for 2.5 miles:

Turn south on IN 43 for 0.5 miles.

Turn SW on Burnett Road for 0.4 miles to North 9th street/county rd. 100 east.

Turn N on CR 100 and go 1.6 miles to the park entrance.

We’ll foray several nearby locations and then tour the Purdue University Arthur Herbarium laboratory where we can microscopically examine our specimens.

Please join us for a potluck picnic after the tour. Please bring your favorite dish to this event. Camping is available at Prophetstown park and several other places. Several of us will be camping at this event, and we would invite you to join.
