Yes they are. I never find many but when i do the are in nice little patches like this.

Depends on if it is a true bicolor or one of the look alikes. The bicolor is edible the look alikes are not.

Are you sure? all the pics and discriptions i can find for A. Onusta show or say gills this has a large angular pore surface

Yes it is Polyporus Aleolaris and is related to dryads saddle (Polyporus Squamosus)

The only thing i will tell you is that they where found in forest glen county park.
