  • We are now accepting dues paying members to the Hoosier Mushroom Society. Up until this year, we have met in an informal format at many locations across the state. By beginning to collect dues, it will allow our society funds to bring in speakers from around the country and to organize better events.

    Dues for the society are $15 per year for individuals and $20 per year for a family.  Students will have a special discounted rate of $10.

    In order to become a member, simply fill out and mail in the membership form or pay with the Paypal button below.

     

    TWO WAYS TO JOIN (or renew):

    • Use PayPal (or a credit card) online: You can conveniently begin or renew your HMS membership online! Visit our online store and you will automatically be added to the member group once you complete the order.

    Your membership cannot be finalized until we have a signed liability waiver on file. Even if you pay online using Paypal, please print out and bring a liability waiver with you to the first event you attend.

     

     

    • OR, use a mail-in form: If you would prefer to mail it in, click here to get a form which you can print, fill out, and mail in with a check, or bring it to the first event you plan on attending.

    First-time members joining HMS after June 30 of any given year will be covered through December 31 of the following year.

    Lapsed members who pay their dues after August 31 of any given year will be provided membership coverage through December 31 of the following year.

    HOOSIER MUSHROOM SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP FUND
    Please also consider making a donation to the HMS Scholarship Fund, which is awarded from time to time to students who are pursuing an education in mycology.  No amount is too small! Stay tuned to this page for updates on the program.
     


     
    HMS GENERAL OPERATING FUND
    If you wish, you can also make a donation to the HMS General Operating Fund. This fund is used to pay for guest lecturers and to help defray other operating costs such as postage and meeting hall rental.  No amount is too small!
