Paris, IL   Found lots of these 9/2 - 9/4/16 around oak trees in mass troops.   Most were buggy or had larvae in them, these looked the best choice as there were no pin holes on the caps and the stems looked bug free when I cut horizontal. Looks like some have been up for over a week as they had started to pale, yet there were some that were just pinning (see center mushroom in photo as it has 2 pinned).
