stephensaj
Hello, I'm new to the site and request some ID help. I have always hunted Morels but i just found this guy yesterday and am 90% sure it is chicken of the woods. The underside is white and smooth. no gills. Anyone agree with me? I'm looking forward to trying it. Thanks, Drew
Dhuntington
It does appear to be chicken of the woods. Being white on the uderside i think it is laetiporus Cincinnatus

I really have never had anything like it. I will always keep an eye out for these from now on.

Bruce
Very common mushroom that is quite distinctive and tastes great if you get them young enough.
