Found this in a fairy ring but it doesn't look like a fairy ring mushroom.  Any suggestions.  It looks more like a common field mushroon Agaricus campestris.  Do they also grow in rings?

Agaricus campestris should have pink or brown gills and prominent remnants of a partial veil. Spore print is brown. I can't really tell gill color or other details from this photo. Could be a Meadow Mushroom, maybe not.

But to answer your question...yes, they sometimes grow in fairy rings. I have some that usually come up every year on my property. Didn't this year, though. September was too dry.
