Hoosierfunguy Posted May 6, 2018 Report Share Posted May 6, 2018 These morels were formerly classified as Morchella Semilibera. This is the beginning of the peak season for these Morchellas. It takes a lot to make a pound, but they're fun and easy to find under hickory. They lost that beautiful orange hue within minutes of picking them.
